Druk Path Trek, one of the most scenic and popular treks in Bhutan, is a relatively a short trek, it takes you to an elevation of 4210m above sea level, making it moderately strenuous. You can see many remote lakes, beautiful views of high mountains and variety of rhododendron. The actual trekking days are five days. It is possible to shorten this trek but you must be in good shape to walk for more then eight hours a day. It is done either from Paro to Thimphu or Thimphu to Paro. The ideal time would be in spring when you can see many varieties of flowers.

This short trek takes you through one of the most enchanting valleys of Bhutan at a maximum elevation of 3480m. While the central attraction of this trek is the beautiful scenic valleys and mountain trails passing through beautiful forests, with the undergrowth changing from rhododendron and magnolia to ferns and dwarf bamboo we can also visit two historical monasteries of Gangtey and Gogona. If we do this trek between November to March we can also see about 250 black-necked cranes at Gangtey and a smaller number of 8-12 at Khotokha.

This Trek is comparatively a challenging trek taking you to a maximum elevation of 4,820m above sea level. This trek is a round trip trek starting from Paro Drugyel Dzong and terminates and Dodeyna in Thimphu. We take a days halt and Lignshi to explore valley and the Dzong built in the 17th century. This treks offers you an excellent opportunity to see the natural landscape including lakes, glaciated valleys adorned by yaks, blue sheep and blue poppy. This trek is also rich in sighting rare high altitude birds such as the Spotted Eagle, Himalayan Griffon and Himalayan Monal. In addition it is also possible to see marmots, blue sheep and Takins. It is said that Janggothang is one of the most spectacular camping places in the entire Himalayas. You can also have the closest view of the Mount Chomolhari, Mt.Jichu Drakey and Tserim Gang. The actual number of days of trekking is nine days and there is a halt for one day at the base camp of Mount Chomolhari. The Trek ends at the northern part of the Thimphu valley.
Note: The sighting of the flora and fauna is seasonal.
